Wooden Valley Refuge & Cave

This contemporary farmhouse style residence is surrounded by vineyards in the foothills of Napa in Wooden Valley. It is a completely new build, and Oxbow helped turn a blank slate into a wonderful home. Throughout the design, special consideration was given to the location’s unique view of the east-facing portion of the eastern Vaca Range which delineates and defines Napa Valley.

Oxbow installed all of the exterior concrete flatwork, patios, pool decks, steppers and stairs. A noteworthy touch: the transition from exterior to interior of the cave is demarcated by decorative architectural brass banding filling in the joints between the concrete paving. The pool was enhanced by Oxbow with poured-In-place concrete coping.
