Tyler Varian, Project Manager

Tyler Varian is a dedicated project manager at Oxbow, where he plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient production. With his bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in Landscape Architecture and five years of experience in a Landscape Architecture studio, Tyler brings a wealth of education, knowledge and expertise to his work.

In his typical day at Oxbow, Tyler is responsible for coordinating materials and scheduling Oxbow and subcontractor crews. He also frequently meets with clients, design professionals and field crews to proactively manage and ensure that projects are running seamlessly. What matters most to Tyler in his work is providing a comprehensive and detailed outline of schedules and costs for clients. During the implementation of projects, his problem-solving abilities shine through. Tyler utilizes Oxbow’s project management system to keep stakeholders fully informed always aiming for transparency and clear communication. Tyler finds inspiration in a well-organized project, living by the motto "nothing good comes easy," a reminder of the hard work and dedication required to achieve success.

Committed to giving back to the community, Tyler also dedicates his time as an associate director at Napa County Resource Conservative District, engaging in volunteer work to make a positive impact beyond the workplace. Outside of work and volunteering, he enjoys cooking, baking, and home improvement projects.
