This remodel of an existing home and landscape created a wine country retreat for a young family. The interior and exterior spaces connect to provide space to gather with extended family and friends. The great room opens up with french doors to a dining terrace on one side and the existing pool on the other.

Meadow-like gardens of low-water plantings and permeable granite paths surround the home on all sides. Oxbow also installed a rain garden to hold seasonal flows and a wildflower garden over the septic field. Mature fruit trees were salvaged and transplanted into a new orchard. A new allée of olive trees and an entry garden create an impressive entrance to the home.
