Ross Summer Cottage

This large gated estate, an original 1941 Ross shingle-style summer cottage, was overhauled by Oxbow in 2018.

Oxbow refreshed the steep surrounding hillside, by preparing the soil, renovating the drainage, installing a completely new irrigation system, and replanting with colorful perennials such as salvias, roses, and flowering trees. The hillside was made accessible through field stone masonry retaining walls and stairs installed by Oxbow.

The existing swimming pool, a retro kidney shape, set amongst mature Japanese Maples, was replastered and retiled to give it a new life and to fit in with the overall aesthetic of the landscape.
