Bennett Valley Hilltop Home

This remodel turned a farmhouse-style building and overgrown landscape into a sophisticated, contemporary home. The previous owner was a plant collector, with a particular passion for conifers. Oxbow thinned the forest to reveal the old oak woodland, augmenting it with new oaks and a native palette. Domestic black basalt, board-formed concrete and ipe decking and wall caps extend the modern style into the landscape.
